We're obviously the ones posing! I'm in the middle
I went to New York City yesterday, and it was grand!
The night before, I slept over at my good friend Appu's house. We met in Sophomore year of high school and really clicked, though she moved shortly after we got to know each other. It was really fun- we did all the typical girly things like eat ice cream and giggle about silly things. The next morning we got up on the early side, put our faces on, and got on the train from New Jersey to New York. It took quite a while, but it was well worth it. Penn Station in New York is very confusing- there are so many exits! We eventually met up with our mutual friend Deepti (also from high school) and went shopping. The H&M in New York was multi-storey and impressive... should have brought my camera.
My friend Anika and her friend Sabrina turned up after a while, and we went for lunch near Washington Park. There was a man completely covered in pigeons there. I wonder if they tried to nest in his hair!
After that, we went for CHEESECAKE! It was at this place called Eileen's Special Cheesecake, and it was excellent.
Eventually, we finished stuffing our faces and went to Steve Madden. Though I was drooling over the high-heeled boots, I ended up buying the cute pair of flats above. I find it really hard to get shoes my size (size 5), so I was pleased they had them.
The best part about yesterday was seeing my good high school friends before we all go separate ways in university. Though I can't wait for Boston, a day with good friends is priceless.
