I decided to curl my hair for this look because Snow White has some sort of wavy bob going on. I've got pretty long hair, so I decided curls were the next best thing. I used the new curling wand that I showed in this video, and I have to say I think they turned out pretty well. Waves would also be nice for this look.
Snow White has amazing eyelashes, which serve as the main feature to her eye makeup. I decided to double-wing my eyeliner and apply lots of mascara. An extra coat on the outer lashes make them more flirty. The skin is meant to be "white as snow", which I interpreted as semi-matte and a shade lighter than my natural skin colour. Lips are straightforward: "red as blood", or the most red colour you've got. Since my M.A.C. Ruby Woo is hanging out in my desk in Boston, I went for a lip crayon. Snow White has interesting blush placement. She blushes from the sides of her face in the movie, which means very little colour on the apples of the cheeks. Rather, blush from the top of the ear to mid-cheek (and a very red blush at that) makes the look.
"Skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony."
Let me know if you like this look, and who your favourite Disney princess was growing up! I loved Mulan, and she's technically a "Disney Princess". I also liked Snow White and Ariel.
