Anyways, my boyfriend and I went to New York City last weekend and it was pretty fun. I took some pictures while I was there... but the ones I'll share here illustrate the trip more.
We went to the American Museum of Natural History! I sent my mom this picture because she loves turtles. I still feel kind of guilty that I didn't buy my mom anything turtle-themed in China, so I make up for it by sending her all things turtle when I get the chance.
GONG CHA IS IN NEW YORK CITY, PEOPLE! Gong Cha is one of my favourite things ever from Singapore and I was delighted to get my 30% sugar oolong milk tea with pearl. Yup, that's my order and I'm sticking to it.
So Korea Street is right next to Penn Station, which means that when I was down there looking for Gong Cha (I had two while in NYC), I had to get a $10 lunchbox that came with soup and everything. The kimchi was awesome and everything else was delicious too. It was nice to get some really good, authentic rice.
I spent the rest of spring break hanging out at my parents house in New Jersey doing... nothing. Well, I helped my dad finish building this foam plane that we started working on over Christmas break, and did some much-needed sorting of stuff in my room. But now I'm back in Boston and all is well :)
